Cognitive problems by users of social services in the Cesky Dub Retirement Home.

Abstract:

Obsahem bakalářské práce je problematika úrovně kognitivních funkcí u seniorů v pobytovém sociálním zařízení. Kognitivní funkce jsou sledovány s možnostmi aktivizace seniorů a jejich podporou. V teoretické části je popsána obecná charakteristika psychického vývoje ve stáří, dále kognitivní funkce, jejich vývoj a změny ve stáří. Ve čtvrté kapitole popisujeme vybrané duševní poruchy, ke kterým řadíme demenci, delirium a deprese. V empirické části práce uvádíme cíle a výzkumný problém. Jaká je úroveň kognitivních funkcí uživatelů Domova důchodců. Zkoumaný vzorek zahrnoval celkem 73 zkoumaných osob seniorského věku, který byl rozdělen do dvou skupin. K získání výzkumných dat byly užity metody: test kognitivních funkcí ? MMSE (Mini-Menthal State Examination) a test kreslení hodin. Na základě provedeného výzkumného šetření byl proveden návrh pro uživatele ve formě podpory souboru cvičení k tréninku krátkodobé paměti dle Jitky Suché.

Abstract:

In subject matter of this bachelor work is issue of cognitive function level of seniors placed in long stay sanitary facilities. Cognitive functions are observed with the possibilities of senior activation and their support. In the theoretical part there are given general details about mental development in old age, next, the cognitive functions, their progress, changes and modification in old age. In the fourth chapter we depict selected mental disorders such as dementia, delirium and depression. In the empirical part of this work we present targets and a research problem. What is a cognitive function level by users of Retirement home. The research sample covered in all 73 inspected persons in senior age, which was divided into two groups. For the acquiring the research data were used methods: the cognitive function test ? MMSE (Mini-Mental State Examination) and the test in drawing clock. On the grounds of the realized survey was made a suggestion for users to make a complex of exercises for training the short-time memory according to Jitka Suchá.
