Obsahem této práce je posmrtný život ve starověké Mezopotámii. Za hlavní pramen jsem zvolil mýtus Nergal a Ereškigal, který byl dochován ve dvou různých verzích. V první části své práce stručně charakterizuji prameny a prominentní božstva, která v mýtu vystupují. Posléze popisuji obě verze mýtu a věnuji se možným interpretacím jednotlivých verzí i interpretaci mýtu jako celku. Následuje část komparativní …more

The topic of this work is an afterlife in ancient Mesopotamia. I chose the myth of Nergal and Ereškigal as the main source. The myth was preserved in two different versions. In the first part of my work, I briefly characterize the sources and prominent deities that appear in the myth.
