Táto rigorózna práca je zameraná na rozbor inštitútu zodpovednosti za škodu spôsobenú vadou výrobku v európskom medzinárodnom práve súkromnom, predovšetkým jeho úprave v nariadení Európskeho Parlamentu a Rady (ES) č. 864/2007 o práve rozhodnom pre mimozmluvné záväzky (nariadenie Rím II).
