This bachelor thesis is a theoretical work and deals with the issue of nanotechnologies used in radiation oncology. It is based on a search of publications published in Czech and English. The first part of the work is focused on the history of nanotechnologies, nanoparticles in oncology and the use of nanoparticles in radiotherapy.
