Abstract:

Cílem disertační práce Rozmanité podoby alegorické pouti v české próze do roku 1989 (s přihlédnutím k polistopadovému vývoji) je podrobné představení žánru, který je navzdory svému historií prověřenému významu českou literární vědou do značné míry opomíjen. Práce má také prokázat, že žánr alegorické pouti rozhodně není omezený pouze na starší epochy české literatury (jak bývá často chápán), ale díla vystavěná na základě struktury žánru vznikají kontinuálně v průběhu celého vývoje české literatury, přičemž dokáží na pozadí konstantní nadčasové existenciální tematiky svérázně absorbovat různé umělecké styly a zároveň zrcadlit rozmanitá myšlenková hnutí. Po shrnutí dosavadního stavu teoretického bádání nejen v oblasti vlastní alegorické pouti, ale rovněž v širší oblasti obecně pojaté alegorie a po nastínění historického vývoje žánru následuje stanovení základního modelu alegorické pouti. Z důvodu výrazně omezených možností stran využití předchozích teoretických poznatků literární vědy, kdy teoretická pojednání zaměřená speciálně na alegorickou pouť absentují zcela a využitelné byly pouze některé konkrétněji zaměřené stati D. Hodrové, bylo nutno samostatně vytvořit základní teoretickou bázi. Vytvořený model je posléze využit v analytické části, kde jsou jednotlivá díla vzniklá v nejrůznějších epochách nahlížena jeho prizmatem. Závěrečné shrnující komparačně zaměřené kapitoly pak dokládají shora naznačenou adaptabilitu žánru alegorické pouti v procesu literárního vývoje a potvrzují optimistickou prognózu do budoucnosti.

Abstract:

The objective of the dissertation thesis entitled Various forms of allegorical pilgrimage in the Czech prose until 1989 (with regard to the post-November development) is an in-depth presentation of a genre that has been largely neglected by the Czech literary science despite its historically proven importance. In addition, the thesis should prove that the allegorical pilgrimage genre is not limited only to the older epochs of Czech literature (as it is often understood), but the works based on the genre structure have been created continuously throughout the development of Czech literature, while being able to nicely absorb different artistic styles as well as reflect multiple intellectual movements, all in a background of constant and timeless existential themes. After summarizing the current state of theoretical research not only in the field of allegorical pilgrimage itself but also in the broader general concept of allegory and outlining the historical development of the genre, the thesis follows with the determination of a basic model of the allegorical pilgrimage. Due to the very limited possibilities of using any previous theoretical knowledge from literary science, with a total absence of any theoretical studies specifically aimed at the allegorical pilgrimage and only a few more specific papers by D. Hodrová available, it was essential to create a fundamental theoretical basis independently. The resulting model is then used in the analytical part of the thesis, where particular works of various epochs are viewed through its prism. The final summarizing comparative chapters illustrate the above-mentioned adaptability of the allegorical pilgrimage genre in the process of literary development and confirm an optimistic prognosis for the future.
