Motivation of employees in company Elte, s.r.o.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na poznání motivace technickohospodářských a manuálních pracovníků firmy Elte s.r.o. Cílem diplomové práce je determinovat a komparovat faktory manuálních a technickohospodářských pracovníků pro úpravu motivačního systému. Mnoho autorů se zabývalo Herzbergovou teorií motivace, především pro identifikaci nejdůležitějších faktorů motivace. Někteří došli k závěrům, že hygienické faktory, jsou přímo účinné pro spokojenost běžných zaměstnanců i vedoucích pracovníků. Autoři často zkoumají mzdy jako motivační faktor, to ale k pochopení motivace zaměstnanců nestačí. Několik studií replikovalo Herzbergova zjištění například ohledně rozlišení mezi motivátory a hygienickými faktory. Práce je založena na studii Damije, Levnajiće, Skrta a Suklana z roku 2015, která se věnovala propojení faktorů nad rámec peněz a prestiže. Metodikou korelační a síťové analýzy bylo dosaženo vyhodnocení daných faktorů s doplněním výsledků Friedmanova testu. Přínosem práce je poznání rozdílů mezi manuálními a technickohospodářskými pracovníky, což by mohlo firmě posloužit pro zvýšení motivace a tím lepších pracovních výkonů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on understanding the motivation of technical and manual workers of the company Elte s.r.o. The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the comparative factors of manual and technicaleconomic workers for determining the motivation system. Many authors have struggled with Herzberg's theory of motivation, especially to identify potential factors of motivation. They sometimes conclude that hygiene factors are available to the satisfaction of regular employees and managers. The authors often examine wages as a motivating factor, but they are not enough to understand the motivation of employees. Several studies have replicated Herzberg's looking for potential harm between motivators and hygiene factors. The thesis is based on study of Damij, Levnajić, Skrt & Suklan (2015) that describes connection of factors beyond money and prestige. The methodology of correlation and network analysis are identified other factors with the addition of the results of the Friedman test. The benefit of the work is the research of differences between manual and technnicaleconomic workers, which should lead to higher positive motivation and thus better work performances.
