Quantification of risk of insurance company in connection with the determination of premium

Abstract:

Pojišťovny jsou při své činnosti vystaveny mnoha rizikům a pro management pojišťovny, i pro dohled nad její činností je třeba tato rizika kvantifikovat. Míry rizika umožňují pojišťovně správně stanovit dostatečný vlastní kapitál, i adekvátní pojistné. Cílem diplomové práce je teoreticky popsat možnosti měření rizik pojišťovny v souvislosti se stanovením pojistného a prezentovat popsané metody na praktické ukázce jejích aplikace.

Abstract:

An insurance company is in their activities exposed to many risks and so for management of insurance company and for the supervision of its activities is need to quantify these risks. Measures of risks enable to the insurance company right define sufficient equity capital and adequately premium. The goal of my thesis is theoretically describe the options of measuring risks in insurance companies in connection with setting premiums and to present the methods by the practical demonstration of its application.
