Cassiterite yellow with lanthanides

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá možností přípravy pigmentů typu kasiteritové žlutě s příměsemi v podobě lanthanoidů. Cílem práce bylo ověřit a rozpracovat podmínky syntézy sloučenin typu Sn0,95-xLnxV0,05O2. Jako Ln byly zvoleny jednotlivé lanthanoidy - La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu a také La a Y. Hodnoty x byly měněny od 0 do 0,15 (pro účely této práce byly zvoleny x: 0; 0,04; 0,08; 0,12; 0,15).

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the possibility of preparation of pigments based on Tin Yellow Cassiterite doped with soft lanthanides ions. The aim of this thesis was to verify and to work up conditions for synthesis of compounds of the type Sn0.95-xLnxV0.05O2. The lanthanides such as Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu and also La and Y were chosen as Ln. Stoichiometric coefficients x differed from 0 to 0.15. For purpose of this thesis, values 0.04, 0.08, 0.12 and 0.15 were chosen.
