Views on plagiarism in time of Gutenberg invention of printing

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the history of piracy and copyright, especially in the period of the invention of printing. Authoress in her thesis Views of plagiarism in time of Gutenberg's invention of printing describes the changes that brought the invention of modern society and how this had an impact on the understanding of piracy and plagiarism at the time. The work mainly focuses on two components of which emerged the first Copyright Act in1709, patents and privileges, of which the main role was played by the print and Stationers´ copyright.

Abstract:

Táto bakalárska práca sa venuje histórií pirátstva a autorského práva, a to najmä v období vynálezu kníhtlače. Autorka vo svojej práci Pohľady na plagiátorstvo v období Gutenbergovho vynálezu kníhtlače popisuje zmeny, ktoré tento vynález priniesol novovekej spoločnosti a aký to malo dopad na chápanie pirátstva a plagiátorstva v tej dobe. Práca sa venuje najmä dvom zložkám, z ktorých vzišiel prvý autorský zákon z roku 1709, patentom a privilégiám, z ktorých hlavnú úlohu hral tlačový patent a papierenskému copyrightu.
