Hlavním cílem mé diplomové práce bylo vzbudit pomocí matematických soutěží v dětech zájem o počítání a poukázat na to, že i matematika může být zábavná. K aktivizaci dětí ve vyučovacích hodinách je nutno využít vhodné metody, já jsem zvolila soutěže a hry. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. The main aim of my diploma thesis was to attract interest in counting by means of mathematical competitions and to point out that even mathematics can be entertaining.
