Grocery stores in the countryside

Abstract:

Diplomová práce zkoumá čtyři vybrané obce, z nichž dvě obce nedisponují obchodem s potravinami a ve dvou obcích je obchod s potravinami provozován. Cílem práce je prostřednictvím terénního šetření identifikovat a poté komparovat vliv absence obchodu a nízké vybavenosti obchodem s potravinami na obyvatele těchto obcí a také na samotnou obec. První část práce vymezuje teoretická východiska, popisuje nákupní chování spotřebitele a přibližuje problematiku absence venkovských prodejen. Druhá část práce obsahuje metodiku práce, charakteristiku zkoumaných obcí a vyhodnocení výsledků.

Abstract:

This thesis examines four selected municipalities, two of which do not have a grocery store and two municipalities have a grocery store. The aim of the thesis is to identify and then compare the effect of the absence of a store and the low availability of food stores on the inhabitants of these municipalities and also on the municipality itself, through a field investigation. The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical starting points, describes the purchasing behavior of the consumer and approaches the issue of the absence of rural stores. The second part of the thesis contains the methodology of the work, the characteristics of the investigated municipalities and the evaluation of results.
