Risks associated with anthropogenic activities with regard to the development of land and their evaluation

Anotace:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku rizik spojených s antropogenní činností v oblasti turismu a rekreace a jejich dopady na rozvoj regionu Krkonoše, včetně jejich hodnocení. Výzkum zohledňuje predikované hypotézy pojednávající o rizicích a aspektech cestovního ruchu na rozvoj regionu sociální percepcí rezidentů. Práce si klade za cíl určení předmětných rizik s ohledem na dominující turismus v regionu a návrh takových řešení pro udržitelný rozvoj zájmového území, aby bylo zachováno přírodní prostředí národního parku a jeho okolí, udržitelný turismus a též důstojné a přívětivé podmínky pro život místních občanů. Východiskem práce je teoretická část, kde je popsán vybraný region, označena legislativa související s ochranou životního prostředí a vyhlášením KRNAP a dále zonace národního parku jako nástroje pro regulaci turismu a ochrany přírodního prostředí. Následně charakterizuje současný cestovní ruch ve vybraném regionu a jeho možnosti. Jsou formulována a hodnocena rizika spojená s intenzivním cestovním ruchem a s jejich dopady na rozvoj regionu. Současně jsou určeny hranice mezi tvrdým a měkkým turismem a únosnost daného území. V praktické části jsou tato rizika a jejich vlivy na rozvoj regionu analyzována. Byl proveden terénní výzkum a dotazníkové šetření. Dále byla realizována SWOT analýza pro budoucí rozvoj regionu a turismu. Po vyhodnocení výzkumu je navrženo adekvátní řešení pro udržitelný rozvoj turismu a regionu tak, aby byly reflektovány názory místních obyvatel na aspekty a dopady turismu na jejich život, aniž by se snižovala kvalita životního prostředí v regionu

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the characteristics of risks associated with anthropogenic activities in the field of tourism and recreation and their impact on the development of the Giant Mountains, including their evaluation. The research takes into account the predicted hypotheses dealing with the risks and aspects of tourism for the development of the region by the social perception of residents. Thesis aims to determine the risks with regard to tourism dominating the region and propose such solutions for sustainable development of the area, to preserve the natural environment of the national park and its surroundings, sustainable tourism as well as dignified and friendly living conditions for local citizens. The starting point of the thesis is theoretical part, which describes selected region, marks legislation related to environmental protection and declaration of KRNAP together with zoning of national park as a tool for regulating tourism and environmental protection. Subsequently it characterizes the current tourism in selected region with its possibilities. The risks associated with intensive tourism and their impact on the development of the region are formulated and evaluated. At the same time the boundaries between hard and soft tourism and carrying capacity of the area are determined. In the practical part, these risks along with their impacts on the development of the region, are analysed. Field research and a questionnaire survey were conducted. Furthermore, a SWOT analysis for the future development of the region and tourism was performed. After evaluation of the research, a suitable solution for the sustainable development of tourism and the region is proposed, in order to reflect the opinions of local people to the aspects and impacts of tourism on their lives, without reducing the quality of the environment in the region.
