Abstract:

Tématem této závěrečné práce MBA je analýza vývoje dynamicky se měnící role podnikového právníka a podnikového právního oddělení. Úloha podnikového právního oddělení se v posledních desetiletích vyvíjela a nabývala na významu. Tato práce ukazuje, jaké místo nyní zaujímá interní právní oddělení a jakým způsobem spolupracuje s podnikem a managementem. Analyzuje také, jaké jsou současné trendy v poskytování interního právního poradenství a jaké výzvy před nimi stojí do budoucna. Důležitým aspektem této práce je také profil moderního podnikového právníka a definice klíčových znalostí a dovedností, které musí moderní podnikový právník mít. Část práce je také zaměřena na vztah interního právního oddělení s advokátními kancelářemi a analýzu případů, kdy dnes společnost zadává právní záležitosti advokátům, resp. jaké služby advokátní kanceláře nově nabízejí a jaký je výhled do budoucna.

Abstract:

The subject of this MBA Final Thesis is the analysis of the development of dynamically changing role of the in-house lawyer and corporate legal department. The role of the in-house legal department has evolved and grown in importance over the past few decades. This paper shows the place in-house legal department now occupies and how it interacts with business and management. It also analyses what the current trends in the provision of in-house legal advice are and what challenges they face in the future. The profile of the modern in-house lawyer and the definition of the key knowledge and skills that a modern in-house lawyer must have is also an important aspect of this thesis. Part of the thesis is also focused on the relationship of in-house legal department with law firms and analysis of the cases in which the company nowadays outsources legal matters to attorneys, or what services law firms newly offer and what is the outlook for the future.
