Vegetation elements of buildings as eco-innovative solutions in the development of regions

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vegetační prvky budov jako adaptační opatření na změny klimatu. Cílem práce je identifikovat význam a možnosti podpory zelené architektury v ČR a vymezit potenciál jejího využití pro zvyšování kvality života v regionech. Následně jsou popsány jejich uplatnění na modelovém projektu průmyslové haly LIKO Vo od společnosti LIKO-S. V teoretické části jsou blíže nastíněny přínosy zelené architektury, jejich realizace a možná rizika, v neposlední řadě je zmíněna jejich současná podpora, jak v zahraničí, tak v ČR. V praktické části je pomocí analýzy nákladů a užitků (CBA) rozšířenou o koncept ekosystémových služeb hodnocen společensko-ekonomický přínos vegetačních prvků budov na pilotním projektu LIKO-Vo. Na základě poznatků z teoretické i praktické části jsou formulovány závěry a doporučení pro uplatnitelnost zelené architektury v dalších oblastech.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the vegetation elements of buildings as an adaptation measure to climate change. The aim of the work is to identify the importance and possibilities of supporting green architecture in the Czech Republic and to define the potential of its use for increasing the quality of life in the regions. Then it is described its used on the model of the project of the LIKO-VO industrial hall from company LIKO-S. The theoretical part outlines the benefits of green architecture, their implementation and possible risks, and last but not least, their current support, both abroad and in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the socio-economic benefits of vegetation elements of buildings on the LIKO-VO pilot project are evaluated using a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) extended by the concept of ecosystem services. Based on the knowledge from the theoretical and practical part, conclusions and recommendations for the applicability of green architecture in other areas are formulated.
