Abstract:
In this thesis it is attempted to outline what constitutes post-apocalyptic genre and what makes world-end scenarios so appealing to general public. It is discussed what constitutes post-apocalyptic genre conventions that have been derived from the exisiting conventions of horror and science fiction.
