Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma firemní filantropie v ČR se zabývá zmapováním stavu firemní filantropie a jejím uplatňováním u vybraných podniků v České republice. Firemní filantropie představuje dobrovolné rozhodování podniků, kdy část svých zdrojů věnují směrem k dobročinnosti a mohou se tím podílet na zlepšování podmínek kvalitnějšího života ve své komunitě a společnosti. Rozsah a význam firemní filantropie všeobecně roste a je jednou ze součástí odpovědného podnikání firem. Teoretická část práce za použití popisné metody vymezuje základní pojmy spojené s firemní filantropií, strategii a formy firemní filantropie, dále modely firemní filantropie a její přínosy v praxi. Praktická část se zaměřuje na realizaci vlastního průzkumu v oblasti firemní filantropie a jejím uplatňováním v praxi. Pro naplnění stanovených cílů byly zvoleny techniky – analýza studie písemných pramenů a dotazník. Závěr obsahuje interpretaci dat a jejich souvislostí, shrnutí poznatků k ověřování stanovených cílů.

Abstract:

The purpose of the Bachelor thesis is to describe the present state of corporate philanthropy in Czech Republic in general, and to study the philanthropic activities in Czech enterprises. Corporate philanthropy represents a voluntary aktivity within a company where part of its dividend is used to offer unconditional monetary assistance to non-political fundraisers, and improving peoples living conditions in the local community or in the society as a whole. Economic growth and prosperity generally increases corporate philanthropy, and is considered to be an important part of corporate responsibility within and across societies. The theoretical part of this work first defines basic concepts of corporate philanthropy forms and strategy, second the model of corporate philanthropy and its benefits in practice. The practical part presents the result of a study designed to analyze variables in the field of corporate philanthropy and its applications in practice in a selected group of Czech companies. Techniques such as analysis of written sources and a questionnaire have been used to meeting the objectives. The conclusion of the study contains the data interpretation and the summary of findings for validation of the objectives.
