A different angle of view of the city of Paris

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis ''A different angle of view of the city of Paris'' the author has attempted to enrich the knowledge the students gained during their secondary school study when they only received the basic facts about the lives of authors and then only about their masterpieces. The work focuses particularly on the authors who created their works in Paris or whose main topic of their works is Paris. These authors are then interconnected with Paris quarters, their birthplaces or famous Paris cafés. The first part of the work briefly summarizes the history of Paris and its concise evolution; and there are also key events recorded which influenced its today's look. In addition, the author compiles monolithic artistic periods along with their major representatives, which are subsequently mentioned in individual Paris quarters, museums, etc. The second part of propositions contains half-day walks in the centre of Paris which lead through selected places mentioned in this thesis. The route is thoroughly prepared and graphically complied on maps. Each selected place of the route reminds the life-period of the author and it is linked which the thesis.

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci na téma ''Odlišný úhel pohledu na město Paříž'' se autorka snažila obohatit znalosti, které studenti získali v průběhu středoškolského studia, kdy jim byla nastíněna pouze základní fakta o životě autorů a poté pouze jejich stěžejní díla. Práce se zaměřuje především na autory, kteří tvořili v Paříži nebo je Paříž hlavním tématem jejich děl. Tito autoři jsou posléze propojeny s pařížskými čtvrtěmi, jejich rodnými domy nebo popřípadě se slavnými pařížskými kavárnami. První část práce stručně shrnuje historii Paříže, její vývoj a jsou zde i zaznamenány stěžejní události, které ovlivnily její nynější vzhled. Dále autorka zpracovává jednolitá umělecká období spolu s jejími hlavními představiteli, které jsou následně zmiňovány u jednotlivých pařížských čtvrtí, muzeí atp. Druhá část práce nabízí půldenní procházku vybraným centrem Paříže napříč místy zmiňovaných v práci. Trasa je důkladně připravena a graficky zpracována na mapách. U jednotlivých bodů nacházíme odkazy do práce, abychom si připomněli dané období či autora.
