Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis deals with the portrayal of the Oedipos myth in modern German literature, namely in “Ödipus und die Sphinx” by Hugo von Hofmannsthal and “Ödipus auf Håknäss” by Hubert Fichte. The goal of this thesis is to conduct a profound analysis of the aforementioned works and compare them to the best-known rendition of this myth by Sophocles. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá ztvárněním mýtu o Oidipovi v moderní, německy psané literatuře, konkrétně pak v dílech Ödipus und die Sphinx od Huga von Hofmannsthala a Ödipus auf Håknäss od Huberta Fichteho. Cílem této práce je provést podrobnější analýzu výše uvedených děl a tato díla srovnat s nejznámějším zpracováním tohoto mýtu od Sofokla.
