Drama Bílá nemoc and its film adaptation in literature class

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématikou využití filmové adaptace dramatu Bílá nemoc v hodinách literární výchovy. V teoretické části jsou prezentovány obě díla (kniha a film) společně s představením spisovatele Karla Čapka a jeho tvorby. Praktická část je zaměřena na návrhy několika vyučovacích hodin, ve kterých je využita filmová adaptace tohoto díla z roku 1937. Vybrané metody jsou do hodin zapojeny podle formátu E-U-R. Součástí praktické části je i následný popis realizace dvou navrhovaných hodin v 9. ročníku základní školy. V závěru jsou shrnuty zmiňované části a vylíčeny výhod či nevýhod navrhovaných hodin.

Abstract:

This diploma is about the topic how to use the film adaptation od the drama The White Disease in literature lessons. In the theoretical part the book and the film are both presented, together with introducing the writer Karel Čapek. The practical part is focused on several lessons suggestions in which the film adaptation from 1937 is used. Chosen methods are incorporated into the lessons according to format E-U-R. The part of the practical section is subsequent description of two lessons, suggested fot the 9th form of the Elementary School. Finally, particular parts which are mentioned above are described and there is also a summary of advantages and disadvantages of suggested lessons.
