The relationship between six-factor model of personality HEXACO and risk behavior in cyberspace among adolescents.

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo zkoumat vztah mezi šesti-faktorovým modelem osobnosti HEXACO a rizikovým chováním v kyberprostoru (kyberšikana, kyberstalking, kybergrooming, sexting). Teoretická část je věnována pojmům a definicím kybernetického prostoru a vybraným formám rizikového chování. Dále zahrnuje kapitoly o osobnosti adolescenta a o modelech osobnosti. Výzkumná část se orientuje na problematiku těchto jevů v praxi prostřednictvím dotazníku, který vyplňovali studenti středních a vysokých škol. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 1001 studentů středních a vysokých škol z Moravskoslezského kraje. Studenti středních škol tvořili n = 411. Studenti vysokých škol tvořili n = 590. Výzkumu se účastnilo 77% žen a 23% mužů. Pro účely kvantitativního výzkumu byl vytvořen Dotazník rizikového chování v kyberprostoru, jehož autorkou je PhDr. Viktória Kopuničová, PhD. Sběr dat proběhl elektronicky. Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že častějšími oběťmi byli muži, kteří se zároveň stávali i agresory. Dle typu škol nám vyšlo, že častěji se s kyberšikanou setkávají středoškolští studenti. Za nejčastější způsob obrany respondenti považovali svěřit se kamarádovi/kamarádce.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to examine the relationship between the six-factorial model of personality HEXACO and risk behavior in cyberspace (cyberbullying, cyberstalking, online grooming, sexting). The theoretical part is devoted to the concepts and definitions of cyberspace and selected forms of risky behavior. Further includes a chapter on the personality of the adolescent and models of personality. The research part focuses on the issue of these phenomena in practice through a questionnaire filled out by students of secondary schools and universities. The research sample consisted of 1001 students from secondary schools and universities of the Region. High school students consisted of n = 411 students of universities comprised n = 590 The research covered 77% of women and 23% men. For the purpose of quantitative research questionnaire was created risky behavior in cyberspace, whose author is PhDr. Viktoria Kopuničová, PhD. Data collection took place electronically. The research results showed that the most frequent victims were men who simultaneously became even aggressors. According to the type of schools it worked out that more often confronted with cyberbullying school students. The most common method of defense respondents considered confide in friends.
