Role of Logistics in Global Sourcing

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is dedicated to one of the global problems – logistics and outsourcing of international enterprises, creating commercial and logistic connections between countries and companies. The thesis shows the current situation in the field of manufacturing and enterprise outsourcing as well as its future outlook regarding the current changes in the global economy. The main objective of the thesis is to create a framework for examination the set of companies that need outsourcing in foreign countries (i.e. Asian countries), and companies that better procure all processes by themselves; searching for answer on the main problem of every manufacturing company: „make or buy“.
