Individual and Group Integration of a Student with Behaviour Disorders

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Individuální a skupinová integrace u žáka s poruchami chování“ se zabývá problematikou dětí s poruchou chování. Práce poruchy chování posuzuje z širšího pohledu. Konkrétně poté se zaměřuje na specifické poruchy chování, které se u žáka posuzují v rámci individuální či skupinové integrace. První kapitola je zaměřena na etiologii poruch chování z hlediska vývoje dítěte. Vývoj je popisován ve třech složkách: kognitivní, sociální a emocionální. Rozebrány jsou konkrétní mezníky a problémy z nich plynoucí, které ovlivňují dítě v průběhu jeho vývoje. Dále jsou v první kapitole rekapitulovány různé klasifikace poruch chování. Druhá část rozebírá vztahy mezi podpěrnými pilíři, které tvoří systémovou podporu. Konkrétně se jedná o diagnostiku specifických poruch chování, legislativní oporu pro žáky se specifickou poruchou chování a podporu realizovanou: uvnitř školy, školskými poradenskými zařízeními a středisky výchovné péče. To vše ovlivňuje, zda je žákovi doporučena individuální či skupinová integrace. Empirická část je zpracována formou kazuistiky konkrétní dívky. Zde byl sledován její emocionální, sociální a kognitivní vývoj, který byl více teoreticky rozepsán v první části práce. Na případě kazuistiky bylo možné si lehce představit obtížnost volby podpory integrace a nezbytnou úlohy systémového řešení problematiky.

Abstract:

This Bachelor’s dissertation entitled “Individual and group integration of a student with a behavioural disorders” looks into the issues surrounding children with behavioural disorders. The work looks at behavioural disorders from a broad perspective. Then it focuses on specific behavioural disorders which are assessed in a student in terms of individual and group integration. The first chapter focuses on the etiology of behavioural disorders in terms of a child’s development. This development is described under three headings: cognitive, social and emotional. Specific milestones and problems emerging from them which impact a child in the course of its development are analysed here. Different classifications of behavioural disorders are also summarized in the first chapter. The second chapter analyzes the relationship between the assistance provisions which make up the support system. Namely this involves diagnosis of specific behavioural disorders, legislative support for students with specific behaviour disorders as well as assistance provided within the school, by the school counselling service and by child development centres. All of this plays a role in deciding whether individual or group integration is recommended for the student. The practical section includes a case study of a young girl. Here her cognitive, social and emotional development, which was more discussed in more theoretical terms in the first section, is followed. On the basis of this case study it is easy to see the difficultly of selecting an integration support method and to appreciate the vital role of the system in solving the problems encountered.
