Foster care and its financial valuation

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku náhradní rodinné péče, konkrétně na pěstounskou péči v České republice, která v posledních letech prošla změnami v rámci přijaté novely zákona č. 359/1999 Sb., o sociálně-právní ochraně dětí. Seznamuje se základní terminologií, představuje druhy pěstounské péče a proces jejího zprostředkování, včetně práv a povinností pěstounů. Větší část práce je věnována finančnímu ohodnocení pěstounů. Součástí jsou statistické údaje, týkají se finančního ohodnocení pěstounské péče a pěstounské péče jako takové, které jsou vyhodnoceny na základě dedukce. Dochází ke zjištění, zda se změnila situace v rámci České republiky, Královéhradeckého kraje a okresu Náchod v průběhu šesti let a jaké konkrétní změny je možné pozorovat. Doplněná je doporučeními pro další vývoj pěstounské péče do budoucna.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of substitute family care specifically foster care in the Czech Republic which in recent years has undergone changes in the adopted amendment to Act No. 359/1999 Coll., on the social and legal protection of children. It introduces the basic terminology that shows types of foster care and the process of its mediation including the rights and duties of foster parents. Most of the work is devoted to the financial evaluation of foster parents. Included are statistical data relating to the financial evaluation of foster care and foster care as such which are evaluated on the basis of deduction. It answers the question of whether the situation in the Czech Republic, Hradec Králové Region and Náchod District has changed within six years and what specific changes can be observed. It is complemented by recommendations for further development of foster care in the future.
