Old and New World Hantaviruses
Abstract:
Hantaviruses constitute infectious agent for man and they can cause serious diseases, such as hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome or hantavirus pulmonary syndrome. This thesis describes the issue of pathogenic and non-pathogenic hantaviruses, their geographical distribution and reservoir hosts. Abstract:
Hantaviry pro člověka představují infekční agens a mohou vyvolávat závažná onemocnění jako jsou hemoragická horečka s renálním syndromem a hantavirový plicní syndrom. Tato práce popisuje problematiku patogenních i nepatogenních hantavirů, jejich geografické rozšíření a rezervoárové hostitele. Také uvede možnosti prevence, léčby a diagnostiky a zhodnotí rozšíření hantavirů v České republice.
