Cílem této práce je uvést čtenáře do problematiky sémantického webu a propojených dat a blíže popsat vrchní ontologii UMBEL, její mapování na další ontologie a vytvoření nového mapování na UMBEL ontologii. Práce čerpá z dostupných publikací a oficiálních webových stránek týkajících se daného tématu. Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to introduce the topic of semantic web and linked data, to provide a description of the Upper Ontology UMBEL, its mappings to other ontologies, and to create new mappings to UMBEL Ontology.
