Autor zkoumá filosofické pozadí neoklasického liberalismu a tradicionalistického konservativismu v USA. Srovnává jednotlivé náhledy na jejich poválečné propojení fusionistickou tradicí a rozčleněním do jednotlivých aspektů se snaží zodpovědět, který z těchto náhledů je nejbližší realitě. The author analyses the philosophical background of neoclassical liberalism and traditionalist conservatism in the USA. He compares various approaches to their post-war merger in the fusionist tradition and, by separating them into specific issues he attempts to resolve which of the approaches reflects reality the most.
