Abstract:

V diplomové práci jsou v teoretické části popsány metody a technologie, které využívají záření v terahertzové oblasti elektromagnetického spektra, a jejich uplatnění v bezpečnostních aplikacích. V práci je postupně popsána oblast THz frekvencí z různých perspektiv, jimiž jsou metody vytváření, přenosu a detekce THz záření, aplikace THz technologií, popis principů THz zobrazování a spektroskopie. Zároveň je práce věnována využití THz frekvencí v bezpečnostních aplikacích, výběru aplikačních směrů souvisejících s bezpečností, srovnání bezpečnostních aplikací THz vln s aplikacemi jiných technologií. V závěru teoretické části jsou nastíněny možnosti vývoje a výzkumu ve vztahu k FAI UTB a odhad budoucího vývoje terahertzové oblasti. Praktická část obsahuje přípravu vzorků a experiment Ramanovy spektroskopie.

Abstract:

In the theoretical section of this thesis the methods and technologies that use terahertz radiation in the electrocmagnetic spectrum, and their use in security applications are described. Diploma thesis in theoretical section describes the methods and technologies that use terahertz radiation in the electromagnetic spectrum, and their use in security applications. The paper successively describes the THz frequency region from different perspectives, which are methods of generation, transmission and detection of THz radiation, applications of THz technology, a description of the principles of THz imaging and spectroscopy . Along this, the work is devoted to the use of THz frequencies in security applications, to the selection of application guidelines related to security, and to the comparison of the security applications of THz waves with applications of other technologies. The conclusion of the theoretical section is oriented to the possibilities of development and research in relation to the FAI UTB, and an estimate of the future development of the terahertz range. The practical part includes sample preparation and Raman spectroscopy experiments.
