Diagnostic of Jatropha Tree - structure, physical-chemical and mechanical properties

Abstract:

Poslední dobou se stále častěji zabýváme otázkou využitím obnovitelných zdrojů, které se dají využít například jak pro získání energie, tak i jako suroviny. Obnovitelné zdroje jsou velmi důležité, protože postupem času nahradí stávající paliva ( uhlí, zemní plyn ). V důsledku toho se lidstvo snaží obnovitelné zdroje využívat stále častěji. Významnou část této spotřeby obnovitelných zdrojů pokrýváme dřevem. Dřevo se dá využívat jak ve stavebnictví tak i pro získávání energie. Cílem bakalářské práce je získat základní informace o vlastnostech dřeva Jatropha Tree jako materiálu a porovnání těchto vlastností ve vztahu ke známým druhům dřevin. Navrhnout možné využití tohoto dřeva. První část práce je zaměřena na popis metod pro určení požadovaných vlastností, druhá část je zaměřena na získané vlastnosti dřeva Jatropha Tree a třetí část se zabývá ekonomicky výhodným využití dané dřeviny.

Abstract:

Recently we have been deeling with a question of renewable resources' improvementwhich can be for example used both for gaining the energy and also as raw material.Renewable resources are very important since current fuels are going to be substituted by these renewable resources in the process (coal, natural gas).Consequently, the mankind is trying to use them more and more often.A significant part of this renewable sources' consumption we cover by wood.Wood can be used not just for a building industry but also for getting the energy. A main goal of my Barchelor' s paper is to get some basic information about wood features of Jatropha Tree as a material and a comparison of these features in a relationship to renowned kinds of wood species. The goal is further to propose the usage of this kind of wood.Basically, the first part of the paper has been concentrated on a description of methods for a good determination of demanded properties.The second part has been focused on the gained properties of the wood Jatropha Tree and the third part has been concerned with an economical usage of this existing wood species.
