Scenario of Future Development of European Power Engineering

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na představení možných scénářů budoucího vývoje energetiky v Evropě do roku 2050. Práce rovněž obsahuje analýzu energetických sektorů jednotlivých evropských států, popsání klíčových faktorů v historickém vývoji evropské energetiky, shrnutí a zhodnocení některých dříve publikovaných predikcí a představení vybraných technologií čisté energie. Provedení těchto dílčích částí bylo důležité pro získání lepších podkladů pro samotné predikování a hodnocení pravděpodobnosti nastíněných scénářů. Závěrem práce je prezentace čtyř různých scénářů budoucí podoby evropské energetiky, hodnocení pravděpodobnosti těchto scénářů a vzájemné porovnání v několika kritériích.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis presents possible scenarios for the future development of energy in Europe until 2050. The thesis also includes an analysis of the energy sectors of the various European countries, a description of the key factors in the historical development of the European energy sector, a summary and evaluation of some previously published predictions and an overview to selected clean energy technologies. The execution of these sub-sections was important to provide a better basis for the actual forecasting and assessment of the probability of the outlined scenarios. The thesis concludes by presenting four different scenarios for the future shape of the European energy sector, assessing the probability of these scenarios and comparing them against each other on several criteria.
