Viennese dialect
Abstract:
Viennese dialect is spoken in Vienna, the capital of Austria and is counted among the Austro-Bavarian dialects. It is rather different from the Austrian form of Standard German and contains many specific lexical items. They can not be understood in another part of Austria.
Abstract:
Vídeňský dialekt patří do skupiny Austro-Bavorských německých dialektů a hovoří se jím převážně ve Vídni, hlavním městě Rakouska. Vídeňský dialekt se do jisté míry odlišuje od rakouské varianty německého jazyka. Obsahuje velké množství výrazů, kterým obyvatelé jiné části Rakouska nemusí porozumět.
