Patient education in prevention of venosus tromboembolism in the postoperative vascular and plastic surgery

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na edukaci pacientů v rámci prevence tromboembolické nemoci u pooperačních stavů na oddělení cévní a plastické chirurgie. Skládá se z teoretické a empirické části. V teoretické části bakalářské práce je podstatou popsat: tromboembolickou nemoc (charakteristiku, rozdělení, diagnostiku, léčbu) a edukaci pacienta v pooperační péči. Stěžejní součástí práce je empirická část, která je založena na kvantitativním výzkumném šetření pomocí nestandardizované dotazníkové metody. Cílem této části je zmapovat vědomosti pacientů o problematice tromboembolické nemoci a zjistit informovanost o případném riziku vzniku tromboembolické nemoci. Zkoumaný soubor respondentů je tvořen 80 pacienty v průběhu pooperační péče na oddělení cévní a plastické chirurgie pražské kliniky Laser Esthetic, kteří byli osloveni v období od prosince 2010 do března 2011. Výstupem této práce je, na základě zjištěných výsledků z dotazníkového šetření, zhotovení návrhu informační brožury a edukační hodiny určenou pro pacienty této kliniky v době pooperační péče.

Abstract:

The bachelor degree thesis is focused on patient education within prevention of trombo-embolism ilness at the afteroperating states in the artery and plastic surgical ward. It consists of theoretical and empirical parts. The nub of the theorethical part is description of trombo-embolism illness/characterization,division,diagnosis,curement/. The empirical part is the most important of all. It is based on quantitiy research inquiry with help of not standard questionnaire method. The aim of this part is map out patient knowledge about problems with trombo-embolism illness and find out awareness about possible risks of trombo-embolism emergence. The studied complex of respondents is set up on 80 patients during afteroperating care in the artery and plastic surgical ward of Prague clinic Laser Esthetic, who were asked in a period from February 2010 to March 2011.The output of this work is that on the basis of established results from questionnaire research was made proposition of information brochure and educative lessons for patients of this clinic during after operating care.
