A view of Czech philosophers into Heraclitus philosophy, comparison before 1989 and after 1989

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá myšlením antického filozofa Hérakleita z Efesu. Herakleitos, jeden z nejvýznamnějších představitelů antické filozofie, byl nepochybně výraznou osobností, které se ve svých dílech věnovalo již mnoho autorů. Častým problémem je však nedostatek objektivních informací o něm, a proto existuje i poměrně mnoho různých pohledů a interpretací na jeho osobu a myšlení. Vypracovaná bakalářská práce nahlíží na Herakleitovu filozofii především z pohledu českých filozofů, a to hned ze dvou perspektiv. Jedná se o etapu v letech 1945 –1989 a od roku 1989 po současnost. Hlavním cílem práce je proto srovnání zcela odlišného pojetí myšlení Herakleita z Efesu ve výše zmíněných časových obdobích.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with thinking of the ancient philosopher Heraclitus of Ephesus. Heraclitus, one of the most significant representatives of ancient philosophy, was undoubtedly a distinctive figure and many authors are focused on in his work for today. However, a frequent problem is a lack of objective information about him and therefore there are a quite a lot of different views and interpretations about him and his thinking. This bachelor thesis focused on Heraclitus philosophy especially from the perspective of czech philosophers from two different views. It is a period between 1945 and 1989 and since 1989 until the present. The main aim of this work is to compare completely different conception of thinking of Heraclitus of Ephesus in two diverse time periods.
