Design and implementation of control system for combustion alternative fuels in Diesel engine

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou využití alternativních paliv pro spalování ve vznětovém motoru. V práci je popsáno základní rozdělení vznětových motorů, vstřikovacích čerpadel a stávajících systémů pro spalování alternativních paliv volně dostupných na trhu. Podrobně je zde rozebrán způsob spalování nestandardních paliv a jeho možné využití v praxi. Práce se dále věnuje návrhu řídicího systému pro spalování těchto paliv a jeho následné implementaci do reálného modelu, kde je provedeno měření a stanovení základních teplotních charakteristik. Na základě těchto měření je proveden návrh regulátoru pro optimální zahřívání a přepínání systému mezi provozem na standardní/alternativní palivo.

Abstract:

This Bachelor?s Thesis deals with the issue of the usage of alternative fuels for combustion in diesel engine. The basic division of diesel engines, fuel-injection pumps and current systems for combustion of alternative fuels, which are freely available on the market, are described in this thesis. The way of combustion of non-standard fuels and its possible usage in profession is analysed there in detail. The thesis also focuses on the project of the control system intended for combustion of these fuels and its resulting implementation into a real model where the measuring and the determinig of the fundamental thermal characteristics are made. Based on these measurements the project of the regulator for the optimal warming and switching of the system between the running on standard/alternative fuel is made.
