Methylované argininy představují markery v oblasti klinické biochemie, jejichž zvýšená koncentrace v plasmě je asociována s kardiovaskulárním rizikem, chronickým onemocněním ledvin či diabetem mellitus. Tyto analyty by mohly přispět v diagnostice zmíněných onemocnění, avšak doposud byly vyvinuty metody stanovení, které se výrazně liší a dosahují obtížně porovnatelných výsledků. Methylated arginines are markers in clinical biochemistry, whose increased plasma concentrations are associated with cardiovascular risk, chronic kidney disease, or diabetes mellitus. These analytes could contribute to the diagnosis of these diseases, nevertheless, to date, methodologies have been developed that differ significantly and produce difficult-to-compare results.
