The thesis shortly introduces diversions in criminal law proceedings according to the Czech legislation. The merit of the thesis is the analysis of the institute of guilty plea agreement in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the United States of America, and their comparison in terms of conditions of agreement conclusion, negotiation, form and subsequent court approval.
