Abstract:

Cílem práce „Aukce pohledem experimentální ekonomie“ je zhodnotit efektivitu příjmů založenou na Revenue Equivalence Principle, mezi odlišnými druhy aukcí za použití ekonomického experimentu jako výzkumné metody. První část je popisuje na teorii aukcí, Revenue Equivalence Principle a metodu ekonomického experiment. Další část je zaměřena na design provedeného experiment. Ve třetí části jsou analyzována data a dána odpověď na otázku: „Generují všechny zkoumané druhy aukcí stejnou výši příjmů pro prodejce?“ Výsledky jsou následně porovnány se závěry odborných studií.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis “Auctions in perspective of experimental economics” is to evaluate income efficiency, based on the Revenue Equivalence Principle, between different auction designs using a research method of laboratory experiment. The first part is concerned to describe related auction theory, the Revenue Equivalence Principle and the method of the economics experiment. The next part is focused on the design of the experiment. The third chapter then analysis the data and give the answers to the question: “Does all examined auction types generate the same amount of revenues for the auctioneer?” The results are then compared to the conclusions of expert studies.
