School social climate at the first degree of the elementary school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou sociálního klimatu školní třídy na 1. stupni ZŠ. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy, vztahující se k dané problematice: školní třída, prostředí, atmosféra, sociální klima, klima školní třídy. Tato část se dále zaměřuje na tvůrce klimatu: osobnost žáka, vývojové změny žáka mladšího školního věku, učitel a jeho kompetence k vytvoření pozitivního klimatu, rodiče. Ve třetí kapitole jsou uvedeny současné přístupy ke zkoumání klimatu školní třídy a metody měření klimatu třídy. Praktická část se věnuje výzkumu sociálního klimatu 2. – 5. třídy základní školy. Výzkum byl proveden pomocí standardizovaných dotazníků B-4 a My Class Inventory a je zakončen ověřením hypotéz. Dotazník B-4 zkoumá sympatie žáků ve 2. a 3. třídě a kvalitu kolektivu. Dotazník My Class Inventory zjišťuje aktuální a preferované klima ve 4. a 5. třídě. Výzkum přináší srovnání výsledků dívek a chlapců a také srovnání výsledků tříd.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of the social climate of the school classes at elementary schools. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part provides an explanation of essential terms related to the given issue: school class, environment, atmosphere, social climate and the climate of the school class. This part is also focused on the creators of the climate: personality of the pupil, developmental changes of pupils at the early school age, teacher and their competency to create positive climate, parents. The contemporary approaches to the examination of the climate of school classes and school climate measuring techniques are listed in the third chapter. The practical part deals with the research of the social climate in 2. – 5. year of an elementary school. The research was realised using standardized questionnaires B-4 and My Class Inventory and was finished by the verification of presumptions. The B-4 questionnaire analyses fondness and group quality in the 2. and 3. year. The My Class Inventory questionnaire reveals current a preferred climate in the 4. and 5. year of the elementary school. The research also provides a comparison of results between boys and girls and between particular classes.
