Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá odhadem diskontu za omezenou obchodovatelnost pomocí ukazatele Bid-Ask spread. První část práce je věnována rešerši zahraniční literatury, zejména empirickým studiím a teoretickým kvantitativním modelům odhadu diskontu za omezenou obchodovatelnost, druhá část práce se pak zabývá odhadem diskontu za omezenou obchodovatelnost pomocí Bid-Ask spreadu, přičemž nejdříve je popsána samotná metodika výpočtu, která je dále aplikována na odhad diskontu pro společnosti kotované na Pražské burze. Výsledky studie jsou shrnuty v závěru práce.

Abstract:

Master's thesis deals with the estimation of the discount for lack of marketability using indicators Bid-Ask spread. The first part is devoted to the search in foreign literature, especially empirical studies and theoretical quantitative models of the estimate of the discount for lack of marketability. The second part of the thesis deals with an estimated discount for lack of marketability using the Bid-Ask Spread, at first the methodology of calculation is described, and is further applied to estimate the discount for companies listed on the Prague Stock Exchange. Results of the study are summarized in the conclusion.
