Physiotherapy in patients with bronchial asthma

Abstract:

Úvod: Název práce "Fyzioterapie u pacienta s astma bronchiale" Cíl práce: Cílem bakalářské práce je přispět k řešení problematiky fyzioterapie u pacienta s astmatem bronchiale. Metodika: Bakalářská práce je koncipována jako teoreticko-kazuistická. V teoretické části jsou na základě odborné literatury objasněny základní pojmy související s daným tématem, tj. anatomie a fyziologie jednotlivých částí dýchací soustavy, onemocnění astma bronchiale, jeho vznik, průběh, diagnostika, léčba a prevence. Rovněž jsou zde uvedeny fyzioterapeutické koncepty a metody, kterých je možno využít k ovlivnění astmatu, včetně fyzikální terapie a klimatoterapie. Kazuistickou část tvoří vstupní kineziologický rozbor osmnáctiletého pacienta s diagnózou astma bronchiale, jako východisko pro sestavení krátkodobého fyzioterapeutického plánu. Vstupní kineziologický rozbor využívá vyšetření aspekcí a palpací, antropometrii, goniometrii, statické a dynamické vyšetření pohybového systému, specifické testy, pohybový a dechový stereotyp. Následuje popis navazujících deseti fyzioterapeutických intervencí uskutečněných s pacientem v průběhu tří měsíců, včetně konceptů a metod využitých k ovlivnění onemocnění jako jsou DNS, ACT?, metody respirační fyzioterapie, PIR, PNF, Brügger koncept, míčkování, senzorická stimulace, techniky měkkých tkání a mobilizace kloubů. Parametry zjištěné po ukončení terapie jsou vyhodnoceny ve výstupním kineziologickém rozboru. Zhodnocení vlivu terapie na zdravotní stav pacienta je provedeno porovnáním výsledků vstupního a výstupního kineziologického rozboru. Výsledky: Výsledky ukazují na zlepšení stereotypu dýchání, spirometrických hodnot, HSSP, na zvýšení hybnosti páteře a uvolnění hypertonických a zkrácených svalů. Závěry: Závěr konstatuje, že práce přispěla k řešení problematiky fyzioterapie u pacienta s astma bronchiale a zdůraznila její přínos pro pacientův zdravotní stav.

Abstract:

Introduction: Title of thesis "Physiotherapy in a patient with bronchial asthma" Objective: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to contribute to the resolution of physiotherapy issues in a patient with bronchial asthma. Methodology: The bachelor thesis is conceived as a theoretical-casuistic one. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts related to the topic, i.e. anatomy and physiology of individual parts of the respiratory system, the disease bronchial asthma, its origin, course, diagnosis, treatment and prevention are explained on the basis of the literature. Physiotherapeutic concepts and methods that can be used to influence asthma, including physical therapy and climate therapy, are also presented. The case report consists of an initial kinesiological analysis of an 18-year-old patient with a diagnosis of bronchial asthma as a basis for the development of a short-term physiotherapy plan. The initial kinesiological analysis uses examination of aspects and palpation, anthropometry, goniometry, static and dynamic examination of the musculoskeletal system, specific tests, movement and breathing stereotype. The following is a description of ten follow-up physiotherapy interventions conducted with the patient over a three-month period, including concepts and methods used to influence the disease such as DNS, ACT?, respiratory physiotherapy methods, PIR, PNF, Brügger concept, balling, sensory stimulation, soft tissue techniques and joint mobilisation. The parameters found after the therapy are evaluated in the kinesiological outcome analysis. Evaluation of the effect of the therapy on the patient's health status is performed by comparing the results of the initial and the output kinesiological analysis. Results: The results show an improvement in breathing patterns, spirometric values, HSSP, increased spinal mobility and relaxation of hypertonic and shortened muscles. Conclusions: The conclusion states that the thesis contributed to solving the problem of physiotherapy in a patient with bronchial asthma and highlighted its benefits for the patient's health.
