Evaluation of effectiveness of different disinfectants of surgical field in the theatre

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na účinnost současných dezinfekčních metod při přípravě operačního pole v kombinaci s profylaktickým podáváním antibiotik a antiseptik v prevenci pooperačních zánětů při operaci šedého zákalu. V teoretické části podává ucelený pohled na profylaxi vzniku endoftalmitidy jako nozokomiální nákazy.

Abstract:

The work focuses on the efficacy of current disinfection methods in the preparation of the operating field in combination with prophylactic administration of antibiotics in prevention of postoperative bacterial endophthalmitis in the cataract surgery. In the theoretical part it gives a comprehensive picture of the prophylaxis of endophthalmitis as the emergence of a nosocomial infection.
