Integration of customer and service master data in the large energy service company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se soustřeďuje na společnost Pražská energetika, a. s. (PRE), jež je největším poskytovatelem energetických služeb, tedy zemního plynu a elektřiny, v hlavním městě ČR. Hlavním cílem této práce je analyzovat, jak má velká energetická firma pracovat s kmenovými daty zákazníků, navrhnout zlepšení jejích business procesů a sjednotit tak vedenou agendu energetických a neenergetických služeb v jednom systému a to SAP CRM. V první části je uvedena charakteristika společnosti Pražská energetika, a. s. a přehled jejích interních procesů. Pro získání popisu silných a slabých stránek společnosti byla zvolena SWOT analýza, která dále poskytuje informace o hrozbách a příležitostech v podniku PRE, na základě metody DSR, ze které vychází. V další části jsou uvedeny základní informace o tom, jak by měla velká energetická společnost efektivně pracovat s kmenovými daty zákazníků a následuje kritické zhodnocení stavu ve společnosti PRE. Pro účely této práce byl využit projekt Evidence neenergetických služeb v SAP CRM, jehož cílem je návrh propojení energetických a neenergetických služeb.

Abstract:

The Master's Thesis focuses on the company Pražská energetika, a. s., which is the largest provider of energy services, that means natural gas and electricity, in the capital of the Czech Republic. The main goal of this Thesis is to analyze how a large energy company should work with customer master data, suggest improvements to its business processes and unify the managed agenda of energy and non-energy services in one system, namely SAP CRM. The first part includes the characteristics of Pražská energetika, a. s. (PRE) and an overview of its internal processes. To describe the company's strengths and weaknesses, a SWOT analysis was used, which also provides information of threats and opportunities in the company PRE, based on the DSR method. The next part provides basic information about effective data processing of customer master data in large energy company, followed by an evaluation of the situation in the company PRE. For the purpose of this Thesis, the project Evidence of non-energy services in SAP CRM was used, which is used to suggest the connection method between energy and non-energy services.
