Reengineering of preventive maintenance project

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá procesem preventivní údržby, respektive jeho reengineeringem. Preventivní údržba strojního zařízení je jeden ze základních pilířů TPM. I když z hlediska kategorizace se jedná o podpůrný proces, bude v této práci poukázáno, jakou významnou roli zastává preventivní údržba směrem k produktivitě a celkové efektivnosti výroby. V této práci dále bude poukázáno na to, že každý proces je svým způsobem živý organismus a musí být stále aktualizován, aby byl schopen plnit svoji roli. Cílem pak je popsat projekt reengineeringu procesu preventivní údržby krok za krokem, od jeho spuštění, až po zavedení do praxe. Výsledkem pak bude zavedení preventivních prohlídek, které budou prováděny v předem stanovených termínech určených pro prevenci a které rozsahem prací a časovou náročností budou odpovídat požadavkům pro nastavení opti-málního chodu strojního zařízení. Naplnění cíle této práce bude dosaženo přes zavedení procesu preventivní údržby a v závislosti na tomto procesu snížit poruchovost na strojním zařízení o 0,12% oproti předcházejícímu roku. Bude sestaven snímek pracovních činností, pomocí kterého určíme kapacitní využití pracovníků, ze kterých bude utvořen stabil-ní tým preventistů. Pro efektivnější preventivní údržbu bude ukázáno, jakým způsobem lze využit informační systém podniku. Celý proces preventivní údržby pak bude jasně definován pomocí pracovní instrukce. Na praktických ukázkách bude ukázáno, jakým způsobem implementovat moderní metody v přípravě a řízení preventivní údržby a co je nutné pro docílení optimalizace procesu preventivní údržby. Budou popsána úskalí projektu při zavádění nejen technického, ale i organizačního charakteru, se kterými se v tomto projektu setkáme. Pro vyhodnocení bude zvolen měřitelný cíl tohoto procesu, kterým bude procentuelní vyjádření poruchovosti, v závislosti na plánovaném času výroby. V samotném závěru nastíním další cesty preventivní údržby, směrem k moderním trendům jako je diagnostika a tribotechnika v oblasti preventivní údržby.

Abstract:

This work deals with the process of preventive maintenance, or its reengineering. Preventive maintenance of machinery is one of the fundamental pillars of TPM. Although, in terms of categorization, it is considered as a supportive process, this work will prove how important role it takes towards preventive maintenance productivity and overall production efficiency. This work will further point out, that each process is somehow like the alive organism and must be constantly updated to be able to fulfill its role. The aim of the project is to describe the reengineering project of preventive maintenance process step by step, from its beginning to its implementation into practice. This will result into the introduction of preventive inspections, which will be carried out in predetermined terms of prevention and which will have the work scope and time demand that will meet the requirements for set-up of optimal operation of machinery. The goal of this work will be achieved through introduction of the preventive maintenance process and, depending on the process, by reduction of the failure rate on the machinery by 0.12% against the previous year. The overview of working operations will be described, by which we determine the capacity utilization of personnel, which will form the stable-prevention team. It will be also described, how to achieve more effective preventive maintenance by the utilization of the company?s information system. The whole process of preventive maintenance will be than clearly defined by work instructions. The practical examples will show how to implement modern methods of preparation and management of preventive maintenance and what is needed to achieve optimization of preventive maintenance process. Also the difficulties, of not only technical but also of organizational nature, encountered in the implementation of the project will be described. The measurable goal of this process will be chosen to evaluate the project which is the percentage expression of failure, depending on the planned production time. At the very end I will outline other possibilities of preventive maintenance, towards the modern trends such as diagnostics and Tribotechnics in the area of preventive maintenance.
