Gall midges (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) of Štramberk and its surroundings

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá faunou bejlomorek Štramberku a jeho bližšího okolí. Zaměřuje se na hálkotvorný hmyz čeledi Cecidomyiidae a podčeledi Cecidomyiinae. Cílem práce je shrnout dosavadní poznatky o výskytu a ekologii bejlomorek, se zaměřením na Štramberk a jeho okolí, kam zahrnuji i lokality v okolí Libotína, Příboru, Kopřivnice, Rybí, Ženklavy a Závišic. V této práci je diskutován i výskyt zmíněných druhů bejlomorek na ostatních lokalitách Moravy a Slezska. Terénní výzkum probíhal od dubna do listopadu roku 2019 a bylo nalezeno 18 druhů. Ve Štramberku byl zjištěn jeden potenciálně nový druh pro vědu na Chaerophyllum aromaticum.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the fauna of gall midges of Štramberk and its close surroundings. The thesis is focused on the gall-inducing insects of the family Cecidomyiidae and the subfamily Cecidomyiinae. The aim of this study is to summarize available data on the occurrence and ecology of the gall midges in Štramberk and its surroundings, including localites around Libotín, Příbor, Kopřivnice, Rybí, Ženklava and Zavišice. In this study, the occurrence of several gall midges species in other localites of Moravia and Silesia is discussed. Field research was conducted from April to November 2019 and a total of 18 species has been found. One potentially new species to science on Chaerophyllum aromaticum was discovered in Štramberk.
