The impact of the method of capturing finance lease on the indicators of financial analysis

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Vliv způsobu zachycení finančního leasingu na ukazatele finanční analýzy“ je porovnání rozdílnosti vnímání leasingu z hlediska českých účetních standardů a IFRS a následné provedení výpočtů vybraných ukazatelů finanční analýzy a jejich analýza. Seminární práce obsahuje teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny základní termíny z oblasti leasingu a finanční analýzy, vnímání leasingu z pohledu české legislativy a IFRS a porovnání účtování a vykazování leasingu dle českých účetních standardů a IFRS. V praktické části práce jsou na příkladu sjednaných leasingových smluv modelového podniku aplikovány zásady účtování a vykazování dle obou metodik. V závěrečné části jsou provedeny výpočty a analýza výsledků vybraných ukazatelů finanční analýzy a uvedeny možné konsekvence pro podnik a uživatele účetních výkazů.

Abstract:

The subject of the diploma thesis „The impact of the method of capturing finance lease on the indicators of financial analysis“ is the comparison of the differences in the perception of leasing in terms of Czech accounting standards and IFRS and subsequent calculations of selected indicators of financial analysis and their analysis. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic terms in the field of lease and financial analysis, the perception of leasing from the perspective of Czech legislation and IFRS and the comparison of accounting and lease reporting according to Czech accounting standards and IFRS. In the practical part of the thesis, the principles of billing and reporting according to both methodologies are applied to the example of the leasing agreements. In the final part, calculations and analysis of the results of selected indicators of financial analysis are made, and possible consequences for the company and users of financial statements are presented.
