A New Graphical Interface for Preparation of Input to the Live Cell Simulator

Abstract:

The main purpose was to simplify preparing inputs for generator of image sequences. The generator is used to manufacture artificial test data used for testing algorithms. Operation of the generator is largely through images that are difficult to produce by hand. Thesis deals with the implementation of GUI applications to prepare input for the generator. This thesis describes the most important part of the implementation of the client and server applications being developed. Deeper describes logging of application used for possible detection of an error and eventual failure of the application, web services public functions that are available for other applications, dynamically build dialogue and knowledge of a called function and describes the basic used algorithms required for basic operation applications. This application was designed so that after compilation of the application it was not necessary to add the extension with re-compile the source code in order to add an extension to it. This is why we include a thorough description of the proposal by extending existing XML as well as its subsequent publication as a service. The greatest emphasis was placed on the accuracy, correctness and structure of the output data needed as inputs for generator image sequences.

Abstract:

Práca vznikla pre zjednodušenie pripravovania vstupov pre generátor obrazových sekvencií. Generátor sa používa na výrobu umelých testovacích dát, ktoré sa používajú na testovanie algoritmov. Ovládanie generátoru je z väčšej časti pomocou obrázkov, ktoré sa ručne vytvárajú zložito. Práca rieši implementáciu GUI aplikácie pre pripravenie vstupov pre tento generátor. Práca popisuje najdôležitejšie časti implementácie klientskej a serverovej časti vyvíjanej aplikácie. Hlbšie popisuje najmä logovanie aplikácie používané pre prípadné zistenie dôvodu chyby a prípadného zlyhania aplikácie, verejné funkcie webovej služby, ktoré sú dostupné aj pre iné aplikácie, dynamické vytváranie dialógov ovládajúcich volané funkcie a opisuje základné použité algoritmy potrebné pre základný chod aplikácie. Táto aplikácia bola navrhnutá tak, aby po dokončení aplikácie nebolo potrebné pri pridávaní rozšírení znovu kompilovať zdrojové kódy, čo je dôvodom dôkladného návrhu popisu existujúcich rozšírení pomocou XML a ich následným zverejnením pomocou služby. Najväčší dôraz bol kladený na správnosť, korektnosť a štruktúru výstupných dát potrebných ako vstupy pre generátor obrazových sekvencií.
