Práce zkoumá, jaké faktory ovlivňují míru čtenosti českých celoplošných placených deníků u dvou vybraných skupin obyvatelstva: seniorů a studentů. Vychází z teorie užití a uspokojení a studií, které vznikly v euroamerické oblasti a které se snaží vysvětlit odliv čtenářů tištěných deníků.
