Onomastic Analysis of Saint Petersburg Local Names
Abstract:
Předkládaná bakalářská diplomová práce s názvem „Onomastická analýza místních jmen Sankt-Petěrburgu“ se zabývá názvy ulic osmi rajonů Sankt-Petěrburgu z hlediska jejich motivace. Cílem práce bylo rozdělit nashromážděné jednotky podle charakteru objektů, jevů či pojmů, jejichž název sloužil jako motivační slovo pro pojmenování ulice.
Abstract:
The submitted bachelor project called “Onomastic Analysis of Saint Petersburg Local Names” deals with street names of eight parts of Saint Petersburg from the aspect of their motivation. The main aim of the project is to divide the gathered items according to features of the objects, phenomenons or concepts whose names served as motivational words for naming the streets.
