Coeliac disease – an autoimunne disorder caused by gliadin

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou laboratorní diagnostiky celiakie, geneticky podmíněného autoimunitního onemocnění. Udává se, že tímto onemocněním je postiženo 0,5 až 1% popu-lace, přičemž mnozí postižení si toho nejsou často ani vědomi. Cílem práce je popis současných možností laboratorního screeningu tohoto onemocnění, možností využití dalších doplňkových vyšetření a analýza laboratorního screeningu celiakie prováděného na oddělení imunologie a alergologie Zdravotního ústavu se sídlem v Ostravě.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with a laboratory diagnosis of the coeliac disease as a genetically conditioned autoimunne disorder. It is known that 0,5% to 1% of the population are suffered from the coeliac disease. In spite of the fact, a lot of affected people are not aware their desease. The aim of the thesis is the description of current possibilities of laboratory screaning of the coeliac desease and further additional examinations and the analysis of the current laboratory screening.applied on the department of immunology and allergy of the Institute of Public Health in Ostrava.
