The master thesis is focused on the description of antibiotic resistance of bacterial strains Escherichia coli, the work deals especially with the resistance of Escherichia coli to quinolones. In its theoretical part the work describes bacterial resistance to antibiotics. It discusses the operation and use of quinolones, mainly veterinary fluoroquinolones.
