Sensual perception of nature by nursery school children

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je ověřit smyslové vnímání přírody na skupině 15 – 25 dětí v předškolním věku, kvalitativním výzkumem v rámci čtyř ročních období (jaro, léto, podzim, zima). Práce analyzuje literární zdroje a metodické materiály vztahující se k tématice bakalářské práce jak z hlediska přírody, tak i smyslového vnímání. Rovněž je zpracován výzkumný projekt smyslového vnímání přírody dětmi v MŠ. Podle rozpracovaných postupů se zkoumá smyslové vnímání přírody na skupině dětí v předškolním věku (5 - 6 roků) a v adaptačním věku (3 - 4 roky) během 5 etap. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda děti v předškolním věku dovedou pomocí smyslů (zrak, sluch, čich, hmat, chuť) rozpoznat pojmy živé i neživé přírody. Zda jejich představy o přírodě nejsou mylné. U posuzované skupiny dětí v MŠ žijící na venkově výzkumná část práce ověřuje, zda poznatky o přírodě získaly až na základě předškolního vzdělávání nebo je získaly již v rodině.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor´s dissertation is to verify children´s sensual perception of the nature with a group of 15 – 25 pre-school children by the way of a qualitative research in the course of four seasons of the year (spring, summer, autumn, winter). There are performed the analyses of literary sources and methodic materials which relate to the topic of this bachelor´s dissertation from the viewpoints of both the nature, and sensual perception. Furthermore, a research project is provided, based on the sensual perception of the nature by nursery-school children. Sensual perception of the nature is studied on a group of pre-school children (5 – 6 years old) and adaptation age children (3 – 4 years) within the course of five periods, according to designed procedures. The aim of the dissertation is to find out whether the pre-school children are able to recognize the concepts of animate and inanimate nature with the help of their senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch, taste). If their ideas of the nature are not incorrect. These nursery-school children, who live in the country, are verified by explorative part of the dissertation whether they had received the knowledge of the nature earlier at home, or they came to it only later, on the basis of pre-school education.
